Home Nepal Annapurna Region Trek Tilicho lake Mesokanto Pass

Tilicho lake Mesokanto Pass (18 Days)

Tilicho lake Mesokanto Pass

Tilicho lake Mesokanto Pass Tilicho Lake is the highest lake in the world, allocated at an elevation of 5200m. The lake lies on the north side of the Annapurna Himal, just below Tilicho Peak (7134m). It is not easy to reach over here as the route rises to the Mesukantu-La pass at 5300m.

Despite of the hardships, it is an exciting and beautiful route, very technical one, particularly the downhill section from the Mesukantu-La. So we never recommend it for beginners. But for those adventure lovers who have the basic trekking experience, it is an excellent option for the views of peaks over 8000m and a variety of landscapes, plants and animals. For night, we use either village lodges or camps.
