Chitwan National Park Tour (9 Days)

Chitwan National Park Tour Chitwan national park is situated in southwestern of Nepal and covers 932 sq. km. This is Nepal’s first famous national park for the wildlife safaris. You can see wild elephant; white footed gaur (the world’s largest wild cattle), leopards, wild boar, sloth bear and several species of deer including the spotted, barking, samber and hog deer.

It is the home of the one-horned rhinoceros and harbors one of the largest populations of the exclusive and rare Royal Bengal tigers. The swampy areas and numerous ox-bow lakes are a prefect for marsh crocodiles. The park hosts 450 species of birds. The Tharu people who have unique cultural traditions. In Chitwan there are many hotels inside and outside of the park. Usually visitors spend 3 days and 2 nights, but it is also possible to stay longer if you desire.

    Program Itinerary (Short)

    Day 01: Arrivals in Kathmandu airport receipt and transfer to Hotel O/N Kathmandu.
    Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley (Pasupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa,Patan durbar squire O/N Hotel Kathmandu.
    Day 03: Early morning Mountain flight, after lunch sightseeing Monkey temple (swyambunath stupa and Kathmandu Durbar squire O/N Hotel Kathmandu.
    Day 04 Drive to Trisuli River at starting point and begin rafting
    Half-day of action packed rafting down the Trisuli River . Trisuli River may not offer extreme challenges for those experienced and thrill seeking paddlers, but it offers an easy float to some exciting rapids every now and then. Trisuli is good for those who have short time and want to sock in the Himalayan River while traveling to Chitwan Jungle Park safari or to Pokhara city Annapurna Trekking. It is perfect for first time rafters to experience white water rafting and families looking for easy river trips. The panoramic view along the river is superb O/N Chitwan National Park O/N Hotel.
    Day 05: Activates in Chitwan national park.
    Day 06: Activates in Chitwan national park,
    Chitwan Activities
    Chitwan Jungle activities : Elephant Ride / Cannoning / Village Tour / Jungle Walk / Bird Watching / Visit to Elephant Breading Center / Slide Show / Tharu Cultural Dance
    Day 07 Kathmandu
    After Breakfast drive back to Kathmandu by tourist coach. It takes 5 hours on the highway, evening transfer to Hotel overnight
    Day 08 Kathmandu Sightseeing
    Free day at Kathmandu O/N Hotel
    Day 09 Departure
    Transfer to Airport for the final departure.
