Rolwaling Khumbu Trekking (22 Days)

Rolwaling Khumbu Trekking Rolwaling Khumbu trekking provides an experience the remoteness of this region, romantic mountain views, diverse flora and fauna and rich local culture. This trek requires a good walking experience and a good physical form. There is technical route in Tashi lepcha La. One should have a peaks climbing permit for this route.

There is a Great Gompa Bigu Gompa. It is a nunnery. There are more than 300 nuns. Two festivals are celebrated in a year in this place like manirimdu in Tenngboche Gompa in Kumbu region. In Sherpa Language Biku means "Seed". There is Sherpa village. View of Gaurishankar (7,145m), Melungtse (7,181m), other mountains, a good landscapes; the village of Beding (3,690m) and monastery, the village of Na (4,183m), Tso Rolpa lake are the main attractions.

    Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and reception at airport and transfer to Hotel O/N Hotel
    Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley O/N Hotel

    Day 03: Drive to Charikot or Dolkha O/N Camp
    Day 04: Trekking through Tamang village and forest to Bikhuti 900m or Shingati 1020m O/N Camp.
    Day 05: Trekking from Bikhuti or Shingati Jagat 1300m or Gonkar 1430m along the river with a view of Gaurishankar O/N Camp
    Day 06: Trekking from Jagat or Gonkar to Simigaon 2020m along the river and terrace fields O/N Camp.
    Day 07: Trekking from Simigaon to Drauangbu 2760m through rhodo forest O/N Camp.
    Day 08: Trekking to Beding 3690m O/N Camp.
    Day 09: Rest day at Beding O/N Camp.
    Day 10: Trekking to Na 4183m with the view Chobutse and Chugimago O/N Camp.
    Day 11: Trekking to Tshobung 4600m via Tcho Rolpa Lake O/N Camp.
    Day 12: Trekking to Yalung Ri base camp 4200m O/N Camp.
    Day 13: Trekking to Glacier Kharka 4750m O/N Camp.
    Day 14: Trekking to Drolumbau Glacier 5036m O/N Camp.
    Day 15: Drolumbau to Tashi Lapsha Pass 5755m crossing the pass with the help of a fixed rope about 15m at the angle of 55°, camping at 5400m O/N Camp.
    Day 16: Ascension of Pachermo peak 6272m then trek to Thangpo 4230m O/N Camp.
    Day 17: Trekking to Thame 3820m O/N Camp.
    Day 18: Trekking to Namche Bazaar 3440m O/N Camp.
    Day 19: Trekking to Lukla 2840m O/N Hotel.
    Day 20: Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel O/N Hotel.
    Day 21: Free day at Kathmandu O/N Hotel.
    Day 22: Transfer to airport for final departure.
