Bahra Pokhari Lake is the long ridge that stretches south west from Himal chuli west peak. There are sacred small ponds on this ridge. According to the Nepali Language, the noun,” Bahra Pokhari” means  “12 ponds”, which indicates a  place with many ponds. Once you are reached over the there you are enjoyed with the marvelous views of three Manaslu peaks respectively; Manaslu (8163m) peak, 29 (7871m), and Himal chuli (7893m).

The trail commences from Bhote Odar village (on the road to Besishar), you are crossed the Marsyangdi River through the local villages. Continuing up the ridge, through forests of rhododendron, you are arrived at the Baraha Pokhari lakes, believed by Nepalese witch doctors to be a place of special power. Above the tree-line, you are treated to a superb vista of Himalayan peaks stretching from the Annapurnas in the west across mighty Manaslu to the Langtang Himal in the east. Sometimes you are welcomed through cultural dances and songs performing by the women of local Tamang community. Your trek is concluded at Besishar Passing through Nagdi village via Ghanpokhara.
