Pikey peak cultural trail trek.
According to the mythology, the name Pikey is derived from the name of Sherpa specially, clan deity. During the month of July, the local people held a celebration to worship their clan god, the eastern Chyabo Pikey, as Pikey HlapchenKarbu.
Pikey peak is also known as Pikey Danda allocated in the height of 4065m. It isregarded one of the tallest hills of Solu. The most of the central and eastern Himalayan peaks can be viewed from here. They are Mt. Everest, Mt.Makalu, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Gaurishangkar, Mt. Lhotseshar, Mt.Nupche, Mt. Amadablam , Mt. Numbur, Mt. Khatang, Mt. Krayalung, Mt. Shisapangma, Mera peak, and Thamserku. While weather favor you, it offers you breathtaking sunrise and sunset views.
The trail commence fromPhaplu and passes through Kerung, Pattale, Jhapre, Pikey peak, Lamajura,andJunebesi and ends at Salleri. Paragliding, Mountain Biking, Bird Watching, Pilgrimage and Meditation activities can be done from here. From here the trail descends through dense forest finally meeting the Mt. Everest trail at Taktor. The best recommended period to book trip to Pikey is July to August due its celebration of Clan God.
While you reach at Pikey peak, there is another option of taking trip to the Dudhkunda cultural trail. This trail passes through Junbesi ,Thuptenchholing, Sengeephuk, Choim pass, Beni, Dudhkundalake,Taksindu and back to Salleri. Among them, Junbeshi is the most beautiful Sherpa Village and Thuptenchholing is the famous Monastery which lies on the way to Pikey Peak.

Bhutan Tour,
Excellent quality: the tourist guide and services were above expectations extremely friendly and very helpful. Chitwan National park tour, Very nice fun and very good guides, Accommodation were also very good, overall very nice and pleasant tour.

The guide and porter were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall the tour was very nice and pleasant.

I really enjoyed my stay in Nepal. The nature is unbelievable beautiful. The trek absolutely is doable in those 12 days Jomsom Muktinath trek.
Rajan is a very nice guy. He's doing his job very well, always takes care of me. Kabi is amazing carrying my luggage. I still don't know how he can do this. If he could speak a little better English then I'm sure he's a fun guy to have around. I can totally recommend Visit Himalaya Treks.

We have just returned from 23 days (October 01-2011 to October 23-2011) on trek with Himal and his team, taking in both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna base camps. This was our third trek with Himal and it was every bit as special as the others. His organization, attention to detail and real care for his clients and the porters are excellent.
