Gorkha Cultural Tour (15 Days)
Gorkha Cultural Tour This is the easiest trek in Nepal and has few uphill climbs of any significance trekking westwards. There are many alternatives way to do trek in Nepal. A northern route presents a trek close to the mountains Manaslu (7945m.), Himalchuli, Bauddha Himal (6674m.) and a side trip to Bara Pokhari, a fine high altitude lake. The more direct southern route to Pokhara allows a visit to the ancient town of Gorkha with its large bazaar and fort. This route has the attraction of lower altitudes and avoids the extreme elevation gains/losses common to other treks in Nepal.
The views of the Himalayas are good on this trek, but you never actually get into the high mountains. A lot of the interest and remoteness of this trek has vanished because the new road to Gorkha has totally changed the trading habits and culture of the region. Local people hardly ever walk this route now, so the facilities for food and accommodation have degenerated. A few westerners travel the southern routes, but many parts of the northern regions are booth remote and untrammeled by trekkers, so we welcome you to get little taste of trekking of Nepal.

Excellent quality: the tourist guide and services were above expectations extremely friendly and very helpful. Chitwan National park tour, Very nice fun and very good guides, Accommodation were also very good, overall very nice and pleasant tour.

I really enjoyed my stay in Nepal. The nature is unbelievable beautiful. The trek absolutely is doable in those 12 days Jomsom Muktinath trek.
Rajan is a very nice guy. He's doing his job very well, always takes care of me. Kabi is amazing carrying my luggage. I still don't know how he can do this. If he could speak a little better English then I'm sure he's a fun guy to have around. I can totally recommend Visit Himalaya Treks.

We have just returned from 23 days (October 01-2011 to October 23-2011) on trek with Himal and his team, taking in both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna base camps.
