Nepal Culture Tour Nepal has been the dreamland of the tourists for a long time. Nepal invites, welcomes, charms and bewilders the visitors. Those who have already visited Nepal cherish the desire for a second visit and those who have heard or read about the kingdom make a plan to visit the country. The pattern of religion gives the country a unique status in the world. Almost all the important religious sects of the world are found in Nepal, however, the majority of the population believes in Hinduism and the conglomeration of the two religions, Hinduism and Buddhism serve as a unique example of tolerance and brotherhood. Both the sects celebrate many festivals of religious significance commonly with equal enthusiasm and there is the co-existence of all the other religious, so Nepal is known as a non-stop festival's country and living cultural museum of the world. The two main cultures and religions in Nepal are Hindu and Buddhist.
There are many cultural and religious centers in Nepal where you can study the Hindu or Buddhist culture. Perhaps you would like to visit a Gompa or monastery, or you could stay in a Nepali village and learn about the different castes and cultures in Nepal, such as Chettri, Newar, Sherpa or Tamang. Each caste has its own culture, festivals and even language. Come to Nepal and learn something about its unique culture.

Program Itinerary (Short)
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport receipt and transfer to Hotel O/N Kathmandu,
Day 02: After breakfast drive to Bhaktapur: Nyatpola, Akash Bhairab, Tiel Mahadev, whole Royal Palace, Siddhi Lakshimi and Fasidega mandir. Pashupatinath Temple (Ascension Ghayasilin Mandap), Tachupal Tole (Tajmath and Dattaraya mandir). Peacock's Alley, Surya Binayak, Changunarayan Temple drive to Nagarkot overnight,
Day 03: Wake up early morning walk towards- Sanctuary kali Temple at top hill and see Sun raise views. Back to hotel and after B/Fast drive to Dhulikhel. On the way visit Banepa, panauti. Overnight in Dhulikhel
Day 04: After breakfast drive to Thimi, Balkumari, and Changunarayan. Dhulikhel- Sightseeing around Dhulikhel, back to Kathmandu overnight O/N Hotel
Day 05: Morning Drive to Hindu's holy Temple Pashupatinath , two bank of Bagmati River.Boudha nath stupa Then after, Swayambhunath Buddhist temple (monkey temple, Visit and walk around) and evening around Durbar Squire O/N Kathmandu.
Day 06: After Breakfast. Drive to Budhanilkhantha Temple, and Patan Durbar squire O/N Kathmandu.
Day 07: After Breakfast. Drive to Sanku, Vajrayogini, Gokarneshwar, and 5 Gompas monasteries, back to hotel Overnight.
Day 08: After Breakfast Drive to Daksinkali (Tuesday and Saturday is special for visit to Daksinkali Temple) and Pharphing Village visit in Kritipur, O/N Kathmandu.
Day 09: Final departure to your homeland country or onward destination & see off!!!

During 13 trips to Nepal, my husband and I mostly did teahouse trekking without guides and porters, due to some bad experiences in the past. All that changed in 2012 when we asked Himal at visithimalayastrek.com to organise our 21 day teahouse trek in the Kachenjunga region. We wanted a guide who came from that area and spoke Tibetan. Himal himself proved to be calm, capable and exceptionally good at getting us into and out of remote places with a minimum of fuss. Likewise, our guide Mingma Bhote and porter Lakpa Bhote couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful, useful and able to deal with the unexpected. We enjoyed our Kachenjunga trek so much that we kept the same happy team for another 20 days. This time we did Manaslu and Tsum valley as a teahouse trek. Again, Mingma’s ability to speak Tibetan - and cook delicious food when necessary - was exceptionally useful. Both Mingma and Lakpa were only too pleased to help us learn some Nepali and Tibetan which added another dimension to our trip. I cannot recommend this company highly enough

The organisation was awesome, couldn't have asked for more, and for a fraction of the price of using a UK/European based company. Hari (our guide) was also top class and reacted to situations as they occured (plane crashes, bad weather, altitude sickness). He looked after us a lot when in the mountains. I would recommmend Visit Himalaya Treks, Himal and Hari to anyone considering a trek in the Everest region. I don't have any experience of trekking with this company in other regions but i'm sure the service would be equally first class. Thanks very much to Hari and Himal for a awesome few weeks in Nepal.

My husband and I just returned from a month stay in Nepal, taking the 17-day trek to Everest Base Camp and an 8-day drive-in and fly out tour of Tibet. We have nothing but high praise for Himal and his staff for their attention to detail in arranging everything, providing wonderful guides to ensure we were successful in all our ventures, keeping us well informed, and the personal touch by having us to his home for a celebration dinner. Even with flight delays from Lukla they came through by using their clout to get us on an earlier flight or for sure we would have been stuck in Lukla for another day. His company delivered on everything as advertised and exceeded all our expectations. Pasang, our trekking guide, did a wonderful job of educating us regarding the land, the people, and the majestic mountains. Because of the excellent service Visit Himalaya Treks provided us we would recommend this comany to anyone considering a visit to Nepal. I really enjoyed my stay in Nepal. The nature is unbelievable beautiful. The trek absolutely is doable in those 12 days Jomsom Muktinath trek.
Rajan is a very nice guy. He's doing his job very well, always takes care of me. Kabi is amazing carrying my luggage. I still don't know how he can do this. If he could speak a little better English then I'm sure he's a fun guy to have around. I can totally recommend Visit Himalaya Treks.

We have just returned from 23 days (October 01-2011 to October 23-2011) on trek with Himal and his team, taking in both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna base camps. This was our third trek with Himal and it was every bit as special as the others. His organization, attention to detail and real care for his clients and the porters are excellent. It is an indication of our complete satisfaction with Visit Himalaya Treks that we are already discussing with Himal another trek for next October.
