Visit Himalaya trek offers a short period trek to make your limited time vacation most memorable trek in langtang valley. This trek has fine views, interesting villages and although there are some relatively uninhabited stretches, accommodation is available here. This trek commences from 19 miles far from Kathmandu valley. While you are disturbed by the the busy road, noisy streets and populated Kathmandu, still you have the options to give solace to your eyes looking through the northern side of Kathmandu. The eye-catching lofty snow covered mountains of Ganesh Himal, and langtang ranges can be viewed. This trek follows the langtang khola and leads you towards the settlement of khanjin Gumpa at 3900m. Although this valley is narrowed one, it is one of the most beautiful Valleys situated in Nepal and Tibet. This area is inhabited by Tamang and Tibetans, who share their similar religion, language and also the clothing, too. This langtang trek is popular destination which fulfills both requirements of adventure and Nature lovers. There is easy access to be reached in every place because of it’s low elevations as well as it is easily approached from Dhunche, the main trading post of area. This takes a day from Kathmandu. As you know it’s an easy and enjoyable destinations where you can get right in among the Himalayan peaks and to get off-the-beaten-track, walking through some fascinatingly remote and relatively unpopulated areas.

Langtang is also known as the treasure house of alpine plants, langtang valley trekking offer splendid views of the Himalayas scenery including the Mt. Langtang lirung, Naya kanga, Dorje lakpa,langsisa ri, Yala peak. Wild animals such as Leopard, Panda, Ghoral, Thoral, Mt.Thar, Monkeys and many types of birds are can be seen in this National Park. This national park was established in 1976 and it is Nepal’s second largest National Park. This park is rich in flora and fauna. In spring time, it is an ideal place to spot birds and flowers of Nepal. The rhododendron forest, grassy down and meadows stream has added additional charm of this trek. Once you enter the valley, you flutter buddies prayer flags, bright painted. This langtang valley trekking gives you the chance to explore the villages and climb small peaks of beautiful langtang valley. The lodges and food items are available in this route.

Program Itinerary (Short)

Day 01: Arrivals in Kathmandu receipt and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu evening trek brief O/N Hotel KTM
Day 03: Drive to Shyaphru besi 1467m (6-8 hours) by Local bus O/N Lodge
Day 04: Trek to Lama hotel (2470m) (5-6 hours) O/N lodge
Day 05: Trek to Langtang village (3430m) 5-6 hours) O/N lodge
Day 06: Trek to Kyangin Gompa (3870m) 4-5 hours) O/N Lodge
Day 07: Day hike to Tserko Ri view point (4984m) Tsero ri is one of the best view point where from we can explore Langtang Himalayan range including Ganesh Himal, langtang, and Shisapanga. Mt Sisapangma is located in Tibet which is one of the above 8000m.
Day 08: After breakfast trek back to Ghodatabela (2972m) 5-6 hours) O/N Lodge
Day 09: Trek back to Thulo shyaprhu (2250m) 5-6 hours) O/N Lodge
Day 10: Trek back to Dhunche (1960m) (4-5 hours) O/N Lodge
Day 11: Drive Back to KTM and transfer to Hotel O/N Kathmandu.
Day 12: Free day at Kathmandu, Shopping, sightseeing, O/N Hotel
Day 13: Transfer to Airport for final departure!!!!!

02: 4 nights’ Accommodation (2 in sharing) In Kathmandu 3 * stander Hotel with breakfast.

During 13 trips to Nepal, my husband and I mostly did teahouse trekking without guides and porters, due to some bad experiences in the past. All that changed in 2012 when we asked Himal at visithimalayastrek.com to organise our 21 day teahouse trek in the Kachenjunga region. We wanted a guide who came from that area and spoke Tibetan. Himal himself proved to be calm, capable and exceptionally good at getting us into and out of remote places with a minimum of fuss. Likewise, our guide Mingma Bhote and porter Lakpa Bhote couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful, useful and able to deal with the unexpected. We enjoyed our Kachenjunga trek so much that we kept the same happy team for another 20 days. This time we did Manaslu and Tsum valley as a teahouse trek. Again, Mingma’s ability to speak Tibetan - and cook delicious food when necessary - was exceptionally useful. Both Mingma and Lakpa were only too pleased to help us learn some Nepali and Tibetan which added another dimension to our trip. I cannot recommend this company highly enough

Dear Himal and Team, Hope you are doing well. Thanks for great trekking arrangement.Excellent. Very professional organisation lead by Himal and a great guide in Hari. The organisation was awesome, couldn't have asked for more, and for a fraction of the price of using a UK/European based company. Hari (our guide) was also top class and reacted to situations as they occured (plane crashes, bad weather, altitude sickness). He looked after us a lot when in the mountains. I would recommmend Visit Himalaya Treks, Himal and Hari to anyone considering a trek in the Everest region. I don't have any experience of trekking with this company in other regions but i'm sure the service would be equally first class. Thanks very much to Hari and Himal for a awesome few weeks in Nepal.

My husband and I just returned from a month stay in Nepal, taking the 17-day trek to Everest Base Camp and an 8-day drive-in and fly out tour of Tibet. We have nothing but high praise for Himal and his staff for their attention to detail in arranging everything, providing wonderful guides to ensure we were successful in all our ventures, keeping us well informed, and the personal touch by having us to his home for a celebration dinner. Even with flight delays from Lukla they came through by using their clout to get us on an earlier flight or for sure we would have been stuck in Lukla for another day. His company delivered on everything as advertised and exceeded all our expectations. Pasang, our trekking guide, did a wonderful job of educating us regarding the land, the people, and the majestic mountains. - Hi Himal, I really enjoyed my stay in Nepal. The nature is unbelievable beautiful. The trek absolutely is doable in those 12 days Jomsom Muktinath trek. Rajan is a very nice guy. He's doing his job very well, always takes care of me. Kabi is amazing carrying my luggage. I still don't know how he can do this. If he could speak a little better English then I'm sure he's a fun guy to have around. I can totally recommend Visit Himalaya Treks. We have just returned from 23 days (October 01-2011 to October 23-2011) on trek with Himal and his team, taking in both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna base camps. This was our third trek with Himal and it was every bit as special as the others. His organization, attention to detail and real care for his clients and the porters are excellent.
