Mt. Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world with the height of 8,585 meters.  Kanchenjunga is situated on the north eastern part of Nepal in the border of Tibet, china and India. Kanchenjunga is the amazing area with its unique mountain ecosystems is envisioned as a tri-national peace park with Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) of China to the north and Sikkim of India in the east. The area is protected as a conservation park by the Nepal Government which is called Kanchenjunga Conservation Area. This Conservation Area is spread in an area of 2038 square km. This region was declared as the gift of the earth full of alpine grass, rocky outcrops, dense temperate and sub tropical forest and low river valley. This enchanting area offers display of flowering glory of rhododendron, lilies, orchids and many more flowers. The wildlife including snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, musk deer red panda and others are also available in this national park.

The Kanchenjunga Conservation Area has been recognized by WWF as a Global Eco Region.  This area was only opened for trekkers since 1988. This area is basically dominated by Limbu ethnic communities. Even though other ethnic communities like Rai, Chhetris,Brahmins also have been cohesively dwelling in this region for a long time despite of variation of their rituals and traditions. The people of the region are co-operative and friendly as well as their life style is also simple one, not affected by the modernity.

 Passing through some of the country's most pristine oak and rhododendron forests brings you to harsher high terrain. Crossing the Mirgin-La pass at 4725 meters, it gives you the views of Makalu, Chamlang and Everest. In next step, you will pass the Kanchanjunga glacier, and finally you will be rewarded with an incredible, close-up view of Kanchanjunga Peak as you already approached the Kanchenjunga Base Camp at Pang Pema. Whilst exploring the surrounding area you will also see a panorama of Wedge Peak, The Twins, Pyramid Peak, Janu Himal and Tent Peak.

Program Itinerary (Short)

Day 01: Arrivals in Kathmandu (Thribhuwan international airport) receipt and transfer to Hotel O/n Kathmandu

Day 02: Half day sightseeing prepares for trek O/n Kathmanndu Hotel.

Day 03: We start our journey with an internal flight eastwards to Birantnagar, on the edge of the Indian plains, where we check in to our hotel and have the afternoon free O/n Biratnagar Hotel.

Day 04: A morning flight takes us north to the airstrip at (Suketar ) Taplejung. Here, we meet our trek crew and set off on the short trek to our camp at Lali Kharka (2300m) Good views of Kangchenjunga O/n Camp.

Day 05: Contour around to Tambawa, with views of the day's walk ahead of us. Descend to a river, then climb via Kunjuri to our camp on the Sinchewa Banjyang ridge (2135m) O/n Camp.

Day 06: Negotiating terraced field systems high above the Kabeli Khola, we pass through many small hamlets and cross low ridges. Beyond the Khesewa Khola, we climb to Phumphe Danda (1858m) O/n Camp.

Day 07: More ups and downs, crossing ridges and river valleys to the most remote settlement in this area at Yamphudin (1678m) O/n Camp.

Day 08: Crossing a spur, we descend to a stream and follow a meandering trail to Darachuk, before climbing to the Dhupi  Bhanjyang (2540m) we descend to camp beside the Omje Khola O/n Camp

Day 09: Straight from camp, we make a steep ascent through dense forest to the crest of the lasiya Bhanjyang (3310m) then trek down to Torontan in the valley of the Simbua Khola O/n Camp.

Day 10: Following a riverside trail, we trek through pine and rhododendron forest to Tseram (3870m) there are great views of the Yalung Glacier, Kabru and Rathong O/n Camp
Day 11: Acclimatization day ay Tseram O/n Camp.

Day 12: Today we trek up to the south side base camp for Kangchenjunga at Ramze (4615m) O/n Camp.

Day 13: Exploration above Ramze, as far as Oktang, Eventually this path take to you chorten topped with prayer flags, this is OKTANG (4780m) and it makes a splendid view point from which to study a great collection of high mountains. Then return to camp by same route then retrace our steps and make a final climb to the small lakes at Chhuchung Pokhari (4450m) O/n Camp.

Day 14: A superb day of trekking today, as we cross 3 passes This is day pass to south side to north side base camp via first pass unnamed pass 4720m then other second pass Mirgenla- 4675m & last pass Siniola- 4660m.From Siniola pass able to recognize Mt Everest, Lotse, Makalu, Chamlang etc, In a long line of snow peaks to the north –west while a Janu is granted to the north east, Then steeply hill down to Manibuk (4290m) O/n Camp.

Day 15: Contouring the hillside with more fantastic views, we cross a further 2 low passes and then descend through rhododendron forest to the Tibetan village of Ghunsa (3475m) O/n Camp.

Day 16: Stunning trekking, through pine forest and then open country, with a steep climb and descent to reach the summer village of Kambachen (4225m). Jannu looms above our camp O/n Camp.

Day 17: Easy angle trekking, with incredible views of Wedge Peak, Nepal Peak and many others, Camp at Lhonak (4815m) on a grassy site above the Kangchenjunga Glacier O/n Camp.

Day 18: A short, but slow-paced walk up to our highest camp at Pang Pema (5150m) this is one of the most spectacular places in the world, directly opposite Kangchenjunga's north face O/n Camp.

Day 19: At leisure at Pang Pema. Day walk options include the hill known as Drohmo Ri (5500m) above camp, which provides panoramic views of Kangchenjunga O/n Camp.

Day 20: Time to walk out from this remote spot, we retrace the route of our approach to the camp at Kambachen, with more unmissable photo opportunities on the way O/n Camp.

Day 21: Today we return to Ghunsa, where we take lunch and then continue beside the Ghunsa Khola, to the Tibetan Refugee village of Phole O/n Camp.

Day 22: Trekking downstream through a forest of rhododendron, conifer birch and oak, we pass the last of the Tibetan villages at Kyapra and follow an undulating trail to Amjillarsa O/n Camp.

Day 23: After a steep descent beside the Ghunsa Khola to Sakathon at the junction with the Tamur River, an afternoon's walk leads to our riverside camp at Chirwa O/n camp.

Day 24: Trekking through villages and cultivated fields, we contour around on a high trail above the Tamur River to Phurumba O/n Camp.

Day 25: It is just a short morning's hike to our camp alongside the airstrip at (Suketar) Taplejung, Afternoon free O/n Camp.

Day 26: We take the morning flight to Biratnagar and onward flight to Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel and free day at Kathmandu O/n Hotel

Day 27: Free day at Kathmandu O/n Hotel.

Day 28: After breakfast transfer to airport for final departure!!!!End our service!!!!!
