Island Peak Climbing and Everest base camp trek located on top of the Chukung glacier between AmaDablam and Lhotse Mountains, Island Peak is the most sought after trekking destination because of its demanding geographical circumstances. Each year more than 300 groups make an effort to scale the summit of Island peak. This trek offers an excellent opportunity to climb the Himalayan Summit (6173m) together with an exciting Trek to the Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar. The most difficult section is that which mired with steep rock and ice wall at a slope of around 45 degrees leading to the narrow summit ridge.

However, the magnificent views from the summit are a priceless reward for your efforts. Before climbing Island Peak, we trek up to the DudhKosi valley from Lukla, passing through Namche and Tengboche on our way to Kalapattar and Everest Base Camp. After having rest and acclimatizing, we then head up the beautiful ImjaKhola valley and then Island Peak. Besides adventure trekking, we also get an opportunity to witness pristine Sherpa villages and ever-so-serene monasteries. With tedious recollections of the trekking earlier done, we retrace our route back through Namche to Lukla, and then you can fly back to Kathmandu.
