Kathmandu/Pokhara/Lumbini Round Trip (11 Days)
Kathmandu/Pokhara/Lumbini Round Trip Lumbini is the birth of place of Lord Buddha and has been declared as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It is small town in the southern Terai plains of Nepal, where the ruins of the old city can still be seen. At the age of 84, he left this world with thousands of followers to keep Buddhism alive. Lumbini has since been a holy ground for Buddhists all over the world. The restored garden and surroundings of Lumbini have the remains of many of the ancient stupas and monasteries. A large stone pillar erected by the Indian Emperor Ashoka in 250 BC bears an inscription about the birth of the Buddha. An important part of Lumbini is the temple of Maya Devi. It has stone image of Maya Devi giving birth to Lord Buddha as she holds onto a branch.
An important archeological site near Lumbini, Kapilvastu evokes the ancient palace where Lord Buddha spent his formative years. Scattered foundations of the palace are abundant and archeologists have by now discovered 13 successive layers of human habitation dating back to the eighth century BC.

Program Itinerary (Short)
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, then transfer to Hotel O/N Hotel
Day 02: Drive to Nagarkot via Bhaktpur city, evening sunrise program, overnight Hotel.
Day 03: After sunrise back to Katmandu. Afternoon Katmandu city sightseeing place to visit
Pashupatinath, Bouddha Nath, Budhanilkantha, Balaju water, Swayambhu Nath stupa (Monkey's temple) Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square with Krishna Temple, overnight Hotel.
Day 04: Kathmandu – Pokhara by drive then transfer to Hotel. Evening walk around Lakeside.
Day 05: Early in the morning sunrise trip to Sarankot and back to Hotel. After noon Pokhara city
Sightseeing place to visit - Bindhabasini Temple, Seti River gorge, Gorkha Museum, Devi's waterfall, Mahadev Cave and visit the Tal Barahi Temple by boat ride in Fewa Lake.
Day 06: Drive to Chitwan then transfer to Resort, Briefing about the program, After lunch Visit to
Tharu Village National Park's visitors' center, Sunset view from the river bank, Dinner with Tharu Culture Dancing program , Overnight
Day 07: After Breakfast Dugout canoe trip followed by a nature walk program or visit to
Elephant breeding farm, back to Resort After lunch Elephant back safari program, leisure, overnight,
Day 08: After breakfast Bird watching Tour and drive to Lumbini then transfer to Hotel.
Day 09: Full day activities visiting ASOKA PILLAR that marks the spot of Buddha's birth, Maya Garden and many other monasteries and temples in the vicinity
Day 10: Lumbini – Kathmandu by drive then transfer to Hotel.

Bhutan Tour,
Excellent quality: the tourist guide and services were above expectations extremely friendly and very helpful. Chitwan National park tour, Very nice fun and very good guides, Accommodation were also very good, overall very nice and pleasant tour.

The guide and porter were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall the tour was very nice and pleasant.
Conclusion:
Overall we are very pleased with the service of visit Himalaya treks and we definitely will recommended to friends, The constant concern on helping and pleasing us was incredible. I really enjoyed my stay in Nepal. The nature is unbelievable beautiful. The trek absolutely is doable in those 12 days Jomsom Muktinath trek.
Rajan is a very nice guy. He's doing his job very well, always takes care of me. Kabi is amazing carrying my luggage. I still don't know how he can do this. If he could speak a little better English then I'm sure he's a fun guy to have around. I can totally recommend Visit Himalaya Treks.

We have just returned from 23 days (October 01-2011 to October 23-2011) on trek with Himal and his team, taking in both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna base camps. This was our third trek with Himal and it was every bit as special as the others. His organization, attention to detail and real care for his clients and the porters are excellent. It is an indication of our complete satisfaction with Visit Himalaya Treks that we are already discussing with Himal another trek for next October.
