Family Holiday Tour, these tours
offers to visit special places of Nepal such as sightseeing around Kathmandu
Kirtipur, Pokhara Sirubari village trek at Syangja, Tansen Bazaar and birth
place of Lord Buddha. Sirubari is a small Gurung village situated south of
Pokhara at an altitude of 1700 meters. The height and aspect ensure a
comfortable climate regardless of any season of the year.
The village, which is inhabited
entirely by the Gurung people, is small and compact with neat and clean trails
connecting the mainly stone and slate built houses. Sirubari offers attractive
valley view’s stretching away towards the Terai. A short walk above the village
gives visitors a spectacular Himalayan panorama that is hard to rival from any
viewpoint in the region. The living culture and tradition of the Gurung blended
with their rich hospitality make for an unforgettable experience in lifetime.

Program Itinerary (Short)
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, then transfer to Hotel overnight at
Kathmandu.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu: Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath, Patan Durbar Square
and Swayambhunath overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 03: Sightseeing in Dakshinkali, Sheshnarayan and Kirtipur overnight at
Kathmandu.
Day 04: Kathmandu – Pkhara by drive (5-6 hours) then transfer to Hotel overnight
at Pokhara.
Day 05: Full day sightseeing in Pokhara: Davi’s fall, Gupteshwar Cave, Tibetan
Refugee Camp, Bindabashini Temple and Bajrabarahi temple overnight at Hotel
Pokhara.
Day 06: Drive to Syangja then trek to Sirubari overnight at Homesty.
Day 07: Sightseeing in Sirubari and free in afternoon overnight at Homesty.
Day 08: Sirubari to Tansen drive overnight at Tansen on Homesty.
Day 09: Drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha then transfer to Hotel

During 13 trips to Nepal, my husband and I mostly did teahouse trekking without guides and porters, due to some bad experiences in the past. All that changed in 2012 when we asked Himal at visithimalayastrek.com to organise our 21 day teahouse trek in the Kachenjunga region. We wanted a guide who came from that area and spoke Tibetan. Himal himself proved to be calm, capable and exceptionally good at getting us into and out of remote places with a minimum of fuss. Likewise, our guide Mingma Bhote and porter Lakpa Bhote couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful, useful and able to deal with the unexpected. We enjoyed our Kachenjunga trek so much that we kept the same happy team for another 20 days. This time we did Manaslu and Tsum valley as a teahouse trek. Again, Mingma’s ability to speak Tibetan - and cook delicious food when necessary - was exceptionally useful. Both Mingma and Lakpa were only too pleased to help us learn some Nepali and Tibetan which added another dimension to our trip. I cannot recommend this company highly enough

Hari (our guide) was also top class and reacted to situations as they occured (plane crashes, bad weather, altitude sickness). He looked after us a lot when in the mountains. I would recommmend Visit Himalaya Treks, Himal and Hari to anyone considering a trek in the Everest region. I don't have any experience of trekking with this company in other regions but i'm sure the service would be equally first class. Thanks very much to Hari and Himal for a awesome few weeks in Nepal.

My husband and I just returned from a month stay in Nepal, taking the 17-day trek to Everest Base Camp and an 8-day drive-in and fly out tour of Tibet. We have nothing but high praise for Himal and his staff for their attention to detail in arranging everything, providing wonderful guides to ensure we were successful in all our ventures, keeping us well informed, and the personal touch by having us to his home for a celebration dinner. Even with flight delays from Lukla they came through by using their clout to get us on an earlier flight or for sure we would have been stuck in Lukla for another day. His company delivered on everything as advertised and exceeded all our expectations. Pasang, our trekking guide, did a wonderful job of educating us regarding the land, the people, and the majestic mountains. Because of the excellent service Visit Himalaya Treks provided us we would recommend this comany to anyone considering a visit to Nepal. I really enjoyed my stay in Nepal. The nature is unbelievable beautiful. The trek absolutely is doable in those 12 days Jomsom Muktinath trek.
Rajan is a very nice guy. He's doing his job very well, always takes care of me. Kabi is amazing carrying my luggage. I still don't know how he can do this. If he could speak a little better English then I'm sure he's a fun guy to have around. I can totally recommend Visit Himalaya Treks.

We have just returned from 23 days (October 01-2011 to October 23-2011) on trek with Himal and his team, taking in both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna base camps. This was our third trek with Himal and it was every bit as special as the others. His organization, attention to detail and real care for his clients and the porters are excellent.
