Program Itinerary (Short)
Day 01: Arrival.
Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, receipt and Transfer to hotel O/N on Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu- Lukla- Phakding.
Early morning flies Lukla and trek to Phakding. We will fly early in the morning to village of Lukla at 9,200 feet. A spectacular flight and hair raising landing on a steep mountain runway brings us to the start of our trek at the village of Lukla (2900m). After meeting the crew, we head up the Dudh Kosi Valley O/N Phakding.

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (11,300 feet).
From Phakding, we cross and re-cross the river on high suspension bridges. Beyond Monjo is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park which was set-up in order to protect and preserve this fragile mountain environment. We then ascend quite steeply to Namche and along the way, if the weather is clear, catch a first glimpse of Mt Everest in the distance. Namche is the main trading village in the Khumbu and has a busy Saturday market - a meeting place for the Hindu traders from the lowlands and the Tibetan yak caravans that have crossed the glaciated Nangpa La O/n Namche bazaar.

Day 04: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m).
From Namche, the trail contours around the side of the valley, high above Dudh Kosi River. Now we get our first really good views of the great peaks of Khumbu including Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. Passing by several villages and numerous tea shops, we descend steeply to a bridge over the river at Phunki Tenga. The village is an excellent lunch spot, and here we can rest before making the steep climb to Tengboche. Although tiring, the hike up the zigzag path has numerous distractions, with rhododendron bushes, beautiful birds and superb mountain scenery. Tengboche is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in the Khumbu O/N Tengboche.

Day 05: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar.
We continue to follow the river and, after crossing it, climb back up through birch and rhododendron forest to Tengboche. Kwangde, Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kantega and Thamserku are just a few of the Himalayan giants to be seen. From Tengboche we descend to the bridge over the Dudh Kosi at Phunki Tenga, where there are water driven prayer wheels, before making our way back to Namche O/N Namche.

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2900M.).
Our final day's trekking follows Dudh Kosi River to back down to Lukla O/N Lukla.

Day 07: Fly Back to Kathmandu (1250M.).
Early breakfast and head to the airstrip for the return journey to Kathmandu. Check in Hotel and free leisure days.

Day 08:  Drive to Trisuli River at starting point and begin rafting.
Half-day of action packed rafting down the Trisuli River. Trisuli River may not offer extreme challenges for those experienced and thrill seeking paddlers, but it offers an easy float to some exciting rapids every now and then. Trisuli is good for those who have short time and want to sock in the Himalayan River while traveling to Chitwan Jungle Park safari or to Pokhara city Annapurna Trekking. It is perfect for first time rafters to experience white water rafting and families looking for easy river trips. The panoramic view along the river is superb.
