Press Release of Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal’s (TAAN)
Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal’s (TAAN) attention has been seriously drawn to the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation’s (DNPWC) decision to close seven jungle resorts operating inside Chitwan National Park from July 15.
TAAN feels that the concerned government offices kept hundreds of tourism professionals in dark by not informing industry people about the terms and conditions of the lease agreement on time.
We feel that the government should address the demands of hundreds of tourism professionals – ignoring the demands of a handful of people close to power centers – and close the resorts forever.
At a time when our protected areas are becoming the example of conservation in global arena, TAAN urges the government not to take any decision that puts our protected areas in peril.

We did (Me and my girl friend) 8 days Tibet tour, 6 days Bhutan tour and 10 days Chitwan national park tour and Annapurna panorama treks with visit Himalaya Treks in September 2011.
Bhutan Tour,
Excellent quality: the tourist guide and services were above expectations extremely friendly and very helpful. Chitwan National park tour, Very nice fun and very good guides, Accommodation were also very good, overall very nice and pleasant tour.
Annapurna Panorama trek
The guide and porter were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall the tour was very nice and pleasant.
Conclusion:
Overall we are very pleased with the service of visit Himalaya treks and we definitely will recommended to friends, The constant concern on helping and pleasing us was incredible. We feel like we got more than a good service but also a good friendship. A huge thank you to Himal and his staffs for making these trips so special and memorable,

Just back from the Langtang-Gosainkund-Helambu trek, organized by Visit Himalaya Treks. It was fantastic! We were very happy with guide Man Kumar and porter Kumar. Compliments for Himal and his team. They were accurate, reliable and communicative. By inviting us in his home, he made the attention very personal. Himal even brought us to the airport, five days after finishing the trek. I really enjoyed my stay in Nepal. The nature is unbelievable beautiful. The trek absolutely is doable in those 12 days Jomsom Muktinath trek.
Rajan is a very nice guy. He's doing his job very well, always takes care of me. Kabi is amazing carrying my luggage. I still don't know how he can do this. If he could speak a little better English then I'm sure he's a fun guy to have around. I can totally recommend Visit Himalaya Treks.

We have just returned from 23 days (October 01-2011 to October 23-2011) on trek with Himal and his team, taking in both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna base camps. This was our third trek with Himal and it was every bit as special as the others. His organization, attention to detail and real care for his clients and the porters are excellent. It is an indication of our complete satisfaction with Visit Himalaya Treks that we are already discussing with Himal another trek for next October.
