Interaction on Nepal Tourism Year campaign
Nepal Tourism Board on July 22 organised an interaction to discuss various issues relating to tourism industry and the Nepal Tourism Year 2011 campaign.
The interaction saw the participation of tourism minister, secretary and chiefs of travel trade associations among others.
During the interaction, representatives from the privates sector apprised the government of the difficulties faced by them in making the tourism campaign a success.
"Instead of focusing on trivial issues, we should seek the holistic approach to promote and develop tourism. Issues of developing and promoting main tourism products including attraction resources based in Tarai area should be given due priority as the sector has immense potential to attract tourists from far and wide", Minister Bhandari said.
Also speaking on the occasion were Jyoti Adhikari, president-TAAN, Ram Kaji Koney, president-NATTA, Basanta Mishra, president-NATO, Prasiddha Bahadur Pandey, president-HAN and other tourism entrepreneurs.
They requested the government to create a conducive atmosphere for tourism business and encourage the private sector to play a leading role for the success of the campaign.

Bhutan Tour,
Excellent quality: the tourist guide and services were above expectations extremely friendly and very helpful. Chitwan National park tour, Very nice fun and very good guides, Accommodation were also very good, overall very nice and pleasant tour.
Annapurna Panorama trek
The guide and porter were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall the tour was very nice and pleasant.
Conclusion:
Overall we are very pleased with the service of visit Himalaya treks and we definitely will recommended to friends, The constant concern on helping and pleasing us was incredible. Just back from the Langtang-Gosainkund-Helambu trek, organized by Visit Himalaya Treks. It was fantastic! We were very happy with guide Man Kumar and porter Kumar. Compliments for Himal and his team. They were accurate, reliable and communicative. By inviting us in his home, he made the attention very personal. Himal even brought us to the airport, five days after finishing the trek. I really enjoyed my stay in Nepal. The nature is unbelievable beautiful. The trek absolutely is doable in those 12 days Jomsom Muktinath trek.
Rajan is a very nice guy. He's doing his job very well, always takes care of me. Kabi is amazing carrying my luggage. I still don't know how he can do this. If he could speak a little better English then I'm sure he's a fun guy to have around. I can totally recommend Visit Himalaya Treks.

We have just returned from 23 days (October 01-2011 to October 23-2011) on trek with Himal and his team, taking in both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna base camps. This was our third trek with Himal and it was every bit as special as the others. His organization, attention to detail and real care for his clients and the porters are excellent. It is an indication of our complete satisfaction with Visit Himalaya Treks that we are already discussing with Himal another trek for next October.
